Liftalytics Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Liftalytics. At Based Solutions, LLC ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), we are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

When you use our mobile application ("App", "Liftalytics") and more generally, use any of our services (the "Services"), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information.

This document outlines our stance on privacy for Liftalytics. We encourage you to read this document carefully.

If there are any conditions that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of the Services.

Data We Collect

Personal Data and Your Liftalytics Account

You are required to create a Liftalytics account to use the app. You can sign up using an email address and password, Sign In with Apple, or Sign In with Google. If you sign up with an email and password, we collect your email address. If you use Sign In with Apple or Sign In with Google, we receive a unique User ID and, depending on your settings, your email address (Sign In with Apple may provide a proxy email if you choose to hide your real email). This data is used to create and manage your account and provide access to the Services.

Your Workout Data

Liftalytics is a workout tracking app and platform. You enter your Workout Data (consisting of training information such as your workout activity data, exercises performed, body measurements, etc.) into Liftalytics. We consider this to be your data, and it is stored securely to provide the Services. This data is linked to your account and can be deleted upon request.

HealthKit Integration

Liftalytics integrates with Apple’s HealthKit to access certain health and fitness data, specifically Steps, Body Weight, BMI, and Body Fat. This data is only accessed if you grant HealthKit permissions and if another app (such as MyFitnessPal or a smart scale) has written this data to HealthKit. Liftalytics uses this data solely to display your health and fitness information within the app for tracking purposes. We do not write any data back to HealthKit, and we do not share this data with third parties. Your health information is stored securely and linked to your Liftalytics account, but it is not used for advertising, tracking, or any other purpose beyond enhancing your experience in the app.

Google Fit and Health Connect Integration

If you enable Google Fit or Health Connect integration, you will be able to read and/or write health and fitness information according to the permissions you provide. Any data received is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to Liftalytics servers. If you would like to delete this data locally, please sign out of Liftalytics and delete the app.

Liftalytics's use of information received from Google Fit APIs will adhere to the Google Fit Developer and User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Liftalytics's use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Subscription Data

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions for premium features (e.g., progress graphs, body measurement tracking). When you purchase a subscription, RevenueCat collects purchase data (e.g., subscription status, purchase history) to manage your subscription. This data is linked to your account but is not used for advertising or shared with third parties beyond RevenueCat. We do not manage any payments outside of RevenueCat.

Crash Reporting and Analytics with Firebase

Liftalytics uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, third-party services provided by Google, to improve the app’s stability and user experience.

- Crash Reporting: When a crash occurs, we may send your User ID (a unique identifier associated with your account) and Device ID (Firebase Installation ID, automatically generated for each app installation) to Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and resolve issues specific to your account or device. We also collect anonymized crash data (not linked to your identity) to analyze overall app performance.

- Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect data on how you interact with the app. For standard actions (e.g., button taps, screen views), this data is anonymized and not linked to your identity. For certain events (e.g., logging a workout, upgrading to premium), we may include your User ID to track specific interactions tied to your account. The Device ID (Firebase Installation ID) is also automatically collected for all analytics events. This data helps us understand user behavior and improve the app. It is not used for advertising or shared with third parties beyond Firebase.

Customer Support

If you message or contact us for support purposes, you may communicate personally identifiable information to us (such as your email address and debug information) in the process. We retain support emails in order to improve customer service.

Data Processing

We store user information on secure servers located in the United States. This means that information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. If you provide Personal Data through the Services, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to servers in other locations.

Data Retention

We retain your data indefinitely in order to provide the Services. However, you can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us through help@liftalytics.app. Personal Data will be deleted when you close your Liftalytics account.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

While we do not actively collect age information from our users, if you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Data to us, please contact us, and we will discontinue the provision of services accordingly.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your Personal Data at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us at help@liftalytics.app. You can also close your Liftalytics account at any time, which will result in the deletion of your Personal Data.

Closing Your Account

You can close your Liftalytics Account at any time by contacting help@liftalytics.app.

Changes to This Policy

This policy replaces all previous policies. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
